I recently stayed at Casa Tomasa in Vedado. It was a wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend it. Tomasa is a wonderful host. She was gracious and for a few dollars extra made us breakfast every morning. Tomasa’s granddaughter speaks English so you will have no problems. Our bedroom was adorable, we had a refrigerator, tv, fan, and an air conditioner. We also had a very large private bathroom. There is a lock on the bedroom door but I did not feel the need to use it, We had use of a large family room as well as a balcony which overlooked a beautiful park.
