Amazing Churches in Vedado Show off Havana’s Architecture
Despite Cuba being a mostly atheist society, there are still many remnants of religious influence. Large, majestic churches can be found scattered all over the city. This one, located in the Nuevo Vedado neighborhood is completely abandoned, save for the lonely guard who is stationed in front.
You can take a stroll through Havana’s neighborhoods and see some truly fascinating and amazing architectural accomplishments. Many buildings constructed in the early 1900’s, have traditional colonial architecture. Some built in the 20’s have art deco styling.
