Regarding the casas particulares, most of the online write-ups are almost identical to those written in the guide. The major difference is that in the guide I write the contact information, including the email, telephone numbers and exact addresses of all the properties. Online, I have all the photos of the casas, which would have been impossible and impractical to include in the guide. If you have any problems or issues renting or finding a casa particular, please tell me, and I can make the reservations for you, or offer you other choices.
