Beautiful Sea Side Villa in Trinidad (Casilda), Cuba

In Hostel Puerto Casilda you will find a casa particular full of relaxation and charm, situated in the heart of the fishing village of Casilda just 3 minutes away from Trinidad. An excellent place for horseback riding, hiking, diving or a quiet vacation on the golden beaches of Casilda. The actual beach (Ancón Beach) is about a 5 minute drive from this casa.

Two rooms are available. Both rooms are on the second floor of the villa.

Room 1 – one double bed and a single bed. Capacity of 3 people.
Room 2 – two double beds. Capacity of 4 people.

Both rooms have separate bathrooms with cold and hot water, air-conditioner, refrigerator, fans, a balcony / veranda.

Price: 25 CUC per night, per room in low season. 30 CUC in high season.

I like urban exploration, so I was happy to learn about the “hidden” places to explore in Havana. I loved walking inside the abandoned buildings. No other guides explain how to do this. If you actually want to explore Cuba on your own, and learn about Cuban life, you need this guide. Books from Globe Trekker, Lonely Planet and Rough Guide are pathetic in comparison.

The listings for the cheap casas particulares is awesome. I rented a large, private apartment, and it cost only $25 per night. I booked online and saved more than $10 per night. I avoided the hidden brokerage charges that other websites charge. Anyway, I saved a lot of money on a 10 day stay. Well worth the price of buying this book.
