Project Description
Outdoor Markets in Vedado, Havana, Cuba
This is one of the thousands of small markets in Havana. Most, like this one, are located at busy street corners. This one is located in a residential area, at the corner of 27 and E, in the Vedado neighborhood.
At these small markets, produce selection is usually relatively limited. You can get the basics, like potatoes, plantains, bananas, onions and cucumbers, but anything else, and you are usually out of luck. For more selection, you would be better off trying one of the large markets located throughout Vedado. I tell you where most are located, in the Real Havana guide. One in particular, near the Focsa building, in Vedado, has very low prices and although it gets very crowded on the weekends, it is a great place to shop and interact with locals.

Discover hidden places and fun things to do which none of the other guides mention. Get it all in the Real Havana Guide.
