Project Description

Quiet, Large, Private Rooms In A Mansion

Casa Particular Leo and Ivelis offers two very large, first floor rooms within a huge, modernly decorated mansion. Although the casa is located on Calle 23 (La Rampa), very close to all the action, the rooms are situated at the back of the house, and are very quiet. The rooms are about 200 sq.ft each and there is also a large en-suite bathroom which measures over 100 sq.ft. The rooms can be rented together or separately. Guests also have access to a private living area measuring over 300 sq.ft and a shared entertainment room with a large flat panel television and sound system. In addition, there is a large terrace in the front of the mansion.

The landlord, Ivelis, is an English professor in Havana who is always available to answer questions or give advice about the city. The casa is located just a block away from Ave. de Los Presidentes, one of the most popular spots for young people to congregate for dancing, drinking and socializing.

Located near 23 and E, Vedado, Havana

Price: 35CUC per night, per room

My husband and I stayed at Casa Leo and Ivelis for 3 nights recently. The Casa is located in a wonderful, central location and Leo and Ivelis were the most amazing hosts and lovely people. They were able to give us lots of tips on the best places to visit and it was great to stay with Cubans with the added advantage that they speak very good English. I would recommend that anyone wanting a genuine Cuban welcome and experience book into Casa Leo and Ivelis.

My friend, Linda, & I just stayed at Casa Leo & Ivelis for ten nights–what a fabulous experience!! They were soooo helpful! While I speak Spanish, Linda doesn’t, so it was terrific that both guys speak perfect English! The house is absolutely exquisite as one can see from the photos! Leo & Ivelis are amazing hosts offering perfect advice on sites to see & ways of getting around Havana–I wouldn’t never consider staying any place else on my next visit!
