In Cental Havana and Old Havana, where sidewalks are tight and space is at a premium, most street names are simply written on small signs affixed to the sides of buildings.

But in the Vedado neighborhood and almost anywhere else in the Havana suburbs, street names are marked on large stones located at street corners.
